There was a lot to celebrate for Coosa County Schools last week when the Alabama state school report cards were released.

The system saw a massive increase with a 10-point improvement system-wide, scoring an 82 overall. The elementary school scored an 80, and the high school scored an 81.

Submitted / TPI State report cards came in last week and schools around the area saw some significant improvements while also saw decreases in their scores.
