Following a finance committee work session during pre-council, city council members unanimously approved a resolution agreeing to the Alabama Department of Transportation and the Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Project’s terms to improve Coley Creek Road, Scott Road and Sunny Level Cutoff.

ATRIP, one of the largest road and bridge improvement programs in the state’s history, will fund 80 percent of the three roads’ resurfacing.
