Funeral services for Robert Homer Smith of Camp  Hill will be at Sardis United Methodist Church, Monday, December 27, 2010, at 2 PM.  Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.  Rev. Steven King will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, December 26, 2010, from 5 PM- 7 PM at Langley Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born on Sunday, February 21, 1920, to the late Robert Henry and Daisy Weona Akin Smith and passed away on Dec. 22, 2010, at the age of 90. He was a life long member of Sardis United Methodist Church.  He was a Veteran of the Army serving from February 24, 1945 until August 3, 1946. He worked for the Tallapoosa County Commissioners on the road crew for 33 years.  He was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude Finch Smith, and sons William Henry Smith, Daniel Joseph Smith, Kenneth Jack Smith and grandson Jason David Gullage.
