An Alexander City man was arrested Tuesday on charges of chemical endangerment to a child.

According to court documents, Michael David Hooks, 36, was arrested after he allegedly “knowingly, recklessly or intentionally cause(d) or permit(ted) a child … to be exposed to, to ingest or inhale or to have contact with” methamphetamines on Oct. 8.
