Three days of sole work on the defensive side of the ball for the Central Coosa boys basketball team truly paid off for the Cougars. 

After a clean sweep against area opponents in the regular season, Coosa earned hosting rights for the Class 2A Area 6 Tournament with the first round against Horseshoe Bend. And it was simply the Cougars' night, winning 76-34.
