Girls ranch director tells hopeful story

Tallapoosa County Girls Ranch director Eric Strong has spoken to the Alexander City Kiwanis Club many times and he wanted to relate a success story to them.

“At the girls' ranch we care for young ladies who come to us for no fault of their own through the foster care system,” Strong said. “They've been abandoned, neglected, or through other difficult circumstances, and our job is to provide them with a safe, stable and loving environment where they have the opportunity to heal and grow, and become successful, and begin discovering what their future can look like.”
