Former Coosa County probate judge and long-time Alexander City businessman Terry Mitchell was appointed to the Lake Martin Area Industrial Development Authority on Wednesday.

The Coosa County Commission voted unanimously to appoint Mitchell to the board after Coosa County assistant EMA director Les Sellers made the nomination.
