Stress is something we all experience, both positive and negative, but those on the frontline have a much larger burden to carry.

Dadeville police department chaplain and reserve officer Ben Hayes explained how high rates of stress affect law enforcement and other first responders. Going through some of the statistics, the average life expectancy of a law enforcement officer is 59 years. In 2022, there were 168 suicides, nationally, in law enforcement.
