Alexander City is now one step closer to getting a bond rate, allowing for lower interest rates on loans and more city growth.

At Monday night's City of Alexander City City Council meeting, Jason Harpe, representative from Carr, Riggs & Ingram LLC, a Birmingham-based accounting firm, announced the city's 2022 audit had been completed.
