The Dadeville Police Department has officially confirmed a shooting occurred in Dadeville on Friday morning.

According to DPD Capt. Chris Fenn, an officer was approached at approximately 8:45 a.m. near Home Plate Cafe on East South Street by a victim who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
