City of Dadeville recognized for Tree City USA

The Dadeville City Council and mayor gather to receive the city's 10th Tree City USA flag. The city was also given two street signs to be displayed around town.

For the 10th year in a row the City of Dadeville was recognized for Tree City USA.

This is an honor promoted by the Arbor Day Foundation and is based on a city's commitment to public tree care. While this is a city-wide award with many hands at play, Katie Wiswall with the Alabama Forestry Commission said she would be remiss if she didn't recognize the Dadeville Beautification Board.
