Dadeville couple spreads hope during Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month

Dadeville resident Wanda Lucas is a survivor of three brain aneurysms, two of which ruptured. Her husband Richard, right, wants to raise awareness during Brain Aneurysm Awareness month and is proud she continues to live her life with a smile on her face.

Dadeville resident Richard Lucas vividly remembers Mother’s Day 2019 when his wife, Wanda, started gasping for breath and went into a full seizure as soon as they got into bed.

Wanda had a brain aneurysm rupture and was rushed to a hospital in Montgomery with not much hope to survive.
