Hailstorm recovery is not over for Camp Hill

Blue tarps on individual houses line parts of Camp Hill's streets. Three months after the hailstorm the community continues to repair its homes from storm damage.

Hail went through sheet metal, folks hid under beds and holes were busted into showers on March 26. Divots from the hailstorm remain in the ground at Camp Hill.

According to Volunteer Reception Center director Warren Tidwell, the recovery from the hailstorm will likely take years. Despite the damage, Camp Hill did not receive a federal disaster declaration or individual assistance from FEMA.
