With Horseshoe Bend High School wrapping up its homecoming game the last Friday of September, two students were announced as Mr. and Miss HBHS. 

Mr. HBHS James Smith is also known for being the Generals’ quarterback and shooting guard in basketball and he said he is thinking about adding baseball to his repertoire this year.  The highlight of his high school career has been beating Clay Central last year in basketball. Smith said the Volunteers are always a tough team to beat, and it was their head coach’s first year at the school.
