Sidewalk project near soccer complex to begin early 2024.

The City of Alexander City is set to begin a new sidewalk project at the beginning of 2024.

According to community development director Amanda Thomas, the sidewalk will have a starting point at the concession stands at the soccer complex, drop down Recreation Drive and go through the municipal complex, run along the east side of James D. Nabors Drive and will have a stopping point at Chick-fil-A.
