For those in need after the March 14-16 storms and tornadoes, the American Red Cross is currently hosting a recovery center in Tallapoosa County.

Located at Grub Hub Market and Grill at 1497 Main St. in Jackson’s Gap, the center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Friday. According to a Facebook post from the Lake Martin Area United Way, the Red Cross is on location and is offering immediate financial assistance for qualified households.
