A woman has died following injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Friday night in Alexander City.
Officers were called to the scene of a crash at the intersection of U.S. Highway 280 and Dadeville Road around 4:40 p.m. Friday. According to Alexander City Police Department Capt. Rashunsky McKinney, the collision involved a passenger car and a pickup truck and occurred when the vehicle entering 280 impacted the other, which was already traveling eastbound.
