While children in schools across the country celebrated Reading Across America Week, local libraries were no different.

Several children and their parents and grandparents gathered at Mamie’s Place Children’s Library Wednesday morning to celebrate with a reading of Dr. Seuss’ “Green Eggs and Ham”, a special craft and tasty treats.
