Player of the Year: Morris flourishes for the Rangers in all facets 

Imagine having to guard a 6-foot-7 and 220-pound basketball player, all with the skillset of a point guard — good luck. 

That was the fate of anyone matched up against Southern Prep’s Mason Morris this season. For the Rangers, he averaged 26.5 points per game, alongside 13 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. All the while leading the team to a 16-9 record and reaching the AISA playoffs. And for his efforts this year, he is the 2026 Outlook Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
