4 local standout named to Yellowhammer State Games
Sixteen teams, well over hundred baseball players in the state — all playing against one another in the Yellowhammer State Games next week. Amongst the many names littered from around the state, there were some from the Tallapoosa County area to see their names participating. Benjamin Russell had three names; Jesse Worthy, Luke Knight and Owen Dye while Reeltown sends Reed Wood to the games. The event is open to the top prospects from the 2027-2030 baseball prospects in the state of Alabama.Â
