The Benjamin Russell girls basketball team took a resounding win over Calera, 50-37. 

Guard Iasia Anderson led the charge for the Wildcats (17-5) with 17 points along with six steals and one rebound. Zada Maxwell finished second on the team with nine points by knocking down three 3-pointers while adding five rebounds and two steals. Amari Cunningham and Ka’Mariya Banks each ended the night with eight rebounds.
