Despite a valiant effort from Central Coosa late in its Week 1 road trip, Coosa fell to an intriguing Sylacauga Aggies squad, 44-22, on Friday night in non-region football action.

The Aggies elected to receive the ball first and did so with a purpose as all purpose superstar back Zakorien Chambliss broke off a 60-yard rushing touchdown to give the Aggies leverage early. Chambliss was the spark all night for the Aggie offense as he finished his night with 95 rushing yards to pair with three touchdowns.
