Luke Lawson

For 18-year-old Luke Lawson, the crack of the bat and the smell of a freshly cut field are the defining sounds of spring. The diamond is where he spends countless hours, representing Central Alabama Community College as a dedicated athlete. But when he hangs up his baseball jersey, his favorite escape isn’t a locker room or another field – it’s the calming waters of Lake Martin.

Inspired to play baseball by his father, Lawson has been rounding the bases practically his entire life. He played his way through grade school at Prattville Christian Academy, developing the discipline and competitive spirit that now define him at the collegiate level. He currently plays as a pitcher at CACC in Alexander City.
