Safeguard our Lake

You do not have to look very far around Lake Martin to see that things are changing. That’s very evident around U.S. Route 280, as well as State routes 49, 50 and 63. While we all want progress and growth, we are seeing our forests cut down and replaced with cement and asphalt. Not all growth is good growth.  

We want to see some control and management of the growth. Our local county governments should take responsibility for managing and planning for this growth. We need them to step up with a regional plan. That is their job and responsibility.
