For someone in the wine and spirits business, the burgeoning trend toward low- and no-alcohol beverages is a little disconcerting. 

Numerous reliable sources, including Forbes, have identified a significant drop in alcohol consumption worldwide. Wine consumption in the United States, for example, has dropped from 9.8 liters per capita in 2010 to 4.5 liters per capita in 2024. Total wine consumption over the same period fell from 29.5 million liters to 20 million liters.
