The Old 280 Boogie is a beloved Waverly tradition.

While the rerouting of a major highway could be seen as a devastating blow for many small town communities, the townsfolk of Waverly not only embraced the change – they still celebrate it today.

The Old 280 Boogie, presented by Standard Deluxe, began 25 years ago as a simple street block party to commemorate the rerouting of U.S. Route 280 around their small town, transforming over time into one of the region’s most beloved annual music and art festivals.

Local vendors and artisans are a staple of the festival.
