The Call of the Covey

Randy Anderson and his dog, Ruger, prepare for a hunt at Crimson Acres Hunting Preserve.

Tucked away down winding red dirt roads and a rolling countryside sits Crimson Acres Hunting Preserve, a new sporting destination just outside Dadeville. Designed to offer hunters and families a unique way to enjoy the outdoors, the guided quail hunting experience was created by a lifelong local, Randy Anderson, who saw the need for an affordable option closer to home.

Since opening for its first season in December 2025, the preserve has quickly drawn in a steady hunting crowd, especially on the weekends.
