Inside the revival of Dadeville's Miller Hotel

  • 4 min to read

On a sunny afternoon in downtown Dadeville, a three-year journey of meticulous preservation culminated in a single, triumphant moment. Dwayne Britton walked across the historic sidewalk of the Courthouse Square carrying a freshly printed piece of paper – the official certificate of occupancy for The Miller Hotel.

For Britton and his team, the document was far more than administrative work; it was the green light for a century-old icon to come alive once again. The historic Miller Hotel, originally constructed in 1923, is officially open for business, ready to welcome travelers and locals alike back to its storied halls.
