Welcome back spring, and welcome back to Lake Martin! This time of year gets me so excited for our big social scene here at the lake.

You know we are back when the covers come off the boats and the group chats start to slowly wake up. I am finding lost sunglasses in last summer’s beach bag and flip-flops in the pontoon’s storage compartments. John and I used everything we had to shove the SanPan off the lift and take our first sunset cruise last week. The Thursday night fishermen are whizzing down Madwind, friends are inquiring about a 2026 list of babysitters, good Airbnb rentals and whether or not we have Uber or Lyft yet. According to Facebook, I do think we have a car service now, Lake Martin Lift. I have not used them yet, but what a great addition to the area and much needed!
