A home away from home or the premier place for visitors, Whiskey Ridge RV Park and Campground held its ribbon cutting on Thursday. 

Whiskey Ridge co-owner John Howell said the campground is meant to be a personal outdoor experience. The space exists for visitors to have a different way to experience the lake in the area and see the nature of Alabama.
