As the demand for pet cremation is increasing, a local funeral home is responding. 

Lake Martin Funeral Home owner Joseph Dean said his funeral home was getting about 20 phone calls a week asking if the home offers pet cremation. Once the service is up and running, LMFH will handle cremations for Auburn University and wants to do the same for Tuskegee University and any county that touches where the funeral home is located.
