Reeltown Elementary School third-grade teacher Lindy Tapley is engaging students using hands-on and real world teaching methods. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed as she has been named the school’s Teacher of the Year.

Tapley is in her second year at RES and taught in Auburn for several years. She said she and her husband decided to make the move to Reeltown for the small town family atmosphere.
