SEASON PREVIEW: Back to the promise land, Reeltown aims much higher in 2026

The end of 2025 left Reeltown with a bad taste in its mouth.

For the first time in two years, the Rebels were not in the Class 2A state title game and their streak of three straight region titles had come to an end. It was not as if the team had a bad season, finishing 10-4 and 5-1 in Region play. It is just that the standard at Reeltown wasn’t achieved. However, the team this year looks to right it’s wrong from a year ago. And with how much production is coming back, the Rebels are certainly a favorite to make that possible.
