It was yet another busy weekend in Alexander City for the Benjamin Russell baseball team, hosting Beauregard and Dadeville for a round-robin this past Saturday.
The Wildcats (8-2) opened the day with the Hornets, already on a two-game winning streak adding wins over Elmore County and Clay Central days prior. And it did not slow down against Beauregard, roaring to an 11-1 win through just five innings of play.
