The Benjamin Russell girls basketball team picked up a key 50-22 victory over Chilton County.

For the Wildcats, Ka’Mariya Banks led the team with 10 points, adding three rebounds and three steals. Ami Edwards added nine points, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Miya Hicks came away with eight points and six rebounds. Both Zada Maxwell and Ryleigh Ruffin scored six points — both hitting two 3-pointers.
