The Benjamin Russell girls basketball team walked away with a 55-14 win over Central Coosa on Friday night.
For the Wildcats, both Gabby McKinney and KaMariya Banks finished with 10 points — a team-high. Amari Cunningham and Ami Edwards pitched in with another eight points apiece, all coming from the third quarter. Rounding out the scoring attack was Zada Maxwell, who hit two 3-pointers, finishing with six points.
Temperatures will fall below freezing tonight across all of
Central Alabama with residual moisture on local roadways. This will
