City of Alexander City receives a grant to continue building sidewalks to connect the different areas better.

The City of Alexander City has been awarded an $800,000 grant through the fiscal year 2026, according to a press release. Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Program to fund pedestrian improvements along Central Boulevard to Joseph Street.
