For most teams, the holiday break serves as a catalyst for rest and preparation for the upcoming area slate — but not for the Central Coosa boys basketball team. Through the break, the Cougars participated in multiple tournaments, showing a varying degree of difficulty.
Ultimately, the Cougars fell in all three of their games against Midfield, Wetumpka and Stanhope Elmore, dropping their overall record to 7-5 through the early slate of the season.
