Guardian Credit Union, headquartered in Montgomery, broke ground on a new branch scheduled to open in early to mid 2026. Guardian marketing director Melody Taylor said they will be able to announce an opening date once construction is underway. The branch, located in The Gateway to Lake Martin shopping center, will be full service. GCU offers a full-suite of banking services from checking accounts to loans and money management.
