Horseshoe Bend School continues to spread awareness about cancer through its FCCLA Pink and Teal fashion show. The theme was 80s this year and the school club partnered with cancer outreach organization Tallapoosa Caring Refuge.

The show originated as a way to raise awareness among students about breast cancer. The teal color was added to represent ovarian and cervical cancer. This year, HBS recognized third grade teacher Brittany Powell and royal blue was added to recognize fifth grade teacher Candice Johnson.
