Recently, Alexander City Schools underwent its annual review from the Alabama Department of Education. Overall, the school did well, according to ACS superintendent Dr. Jose Reyes, Jr., but only the Benjamin Russell High School special education teachers can claim bragging rights for basically a perfect score.
