Eleven members of Bama Brush Strokes took 22 ribbons and other awards and prizes at the Alabama National Fair this month.
Bama Brush Strokes is the Montgomery chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters. Members meet once a month to paint with various teachers. Visiting teachers, as well as club members, teach acrylics, oils, watercolor, colored pencils and other media.
