The federal government’s announcement that it will end Cash for Clunkers Monday was met with disappointment and a little confusion from local new car dealerships.

Several dealers wonder whether the program will actually end next week. Dealers have through midnight Monday to register – not complete – any Cash for Clunkers deals.
