Goodwater Volunteer Fire Department recently broke ground on Station 3. The new fire station is located in the Mt. Olive community.

The new fire station will be located in the Mt. Olive community and should be completed by the end of the year, Coosa County District 2 commissioner Bertha McElrath said.
