Water conservation took center stage at the Charles E. Bailey Sportplex Friday as community members engaged in a rain barrel workshop.
The clinic, hosted by the Tallapoosa County Extension System, allowed participants to build their own barrels while extension agents discussed the value of rain harvesting, rain barrel uses and irrigation methods.
