The Tallapoosa County Revenue Commissioner’s office has handled nearly $23 million in property taxes since October but still has almost $1.9 million to collect.

Tallapoosa County revenue commissioner Eva Middlebrooks said the last notices were mailed out Tuesday in an effort to collect the $1,877,733 in past-due taxes.
