A Goldville house caught fire Thursday afternoon but luckily no one was inside.
Volunteer fire departments from New Site, Hackneyville and Daviston all responded to the scene alongside Alexander City Fire Department. Police from Alex City and New Site were also there with New Site’s Fire and Rescue team.
