Rev. Frederick Young has been named the new pastor at Great Bethel Baptist Church in Alexander City.
Young, a native of Greenville, Mississippi, was a manager in the trucking industry and worked for Fresh Point Co. for more than 20 years before he said God called him to the ministry in 2015. He is currently attending Ohio Christian University to pursue a degree in Biblical studies and has been married to his wife, the former Shirley Moore, for 28 years. They are the parents of Jonathan and Jasmine and will be moving from Ellenwood, Georgia.
