Earlier in January, Chad Harrison was appointed Tallapoosa County’s new district judge. 

Harrison is well known in the community from both his role as pastor of Lake Community Church and his prior role as a local attorney. Harrison practiced law in the area since 2013 and officially made Tallapoosa County his home in 2019. However, on his mom’s side, his family has had ties to the county for the past 150 years.
