The newest baking business in town started with one batch of peanut butter cookies. Alexander City and surrounding area’s newest baking business, Sugar Baby’s Baked Goodies, is open for business.

Zoe Lackey is a fifth grader at Radney Elementary School, and she opened up a cookbook to make one of the recipes they already had all the ingredients for — peanut butter cookies. That was the spark that led Zoe to have a passion for baking.
